The Final Game of Thrones Party

The beginning of the end…

I remember the day HBO announced the premiere date for the final season of Game of Thrones. 04.14.19. It was bittersweet. It was bitter because I had to wait two whole years for the show’s return. Secondly, it was solidifying- it is in fact the final season of this epic, amazingly produced show that has forever changed pop culture. Now on the other hand, it’s sweet because it’s the day after my husband’s birthday. I met my husband five years ago to the date, and of course it’s the return of a show that has influenced me. From the characters, the storyline, the costumes, the conversation it has started within the community, I love all of it! This show has changed me and I am sad to see it go, but I’ll be enjoying every last episode till it’s finally done. For three years, I’ve been throwing Game of Thrones watch parties. They’ve been these get togethers that have allowed me and my fellow gamers to totally nerd out. With all this history, I knew I had to say goodbye the best way I knew how, with a 100 foot media screen!

Here are some of the photos from the very last Game of Thrones party, I’ll ever throw (Tear):

Venue: Texas Live

Bakery: Sugar Bees Sweets

I hope this post inspires you to thrown your very own Game of Thrones party! If you do, be sure to tag me in your photos on the socials. Valar Morghulis!
