Meditation Must-Haves For Rookies

Oh! excuse me, I didn’t see you there. Just trying to get my “om” on. I try my best to get a daily practice of meditation in, but I’m also not hard on myself if I miss it. Meditation is sort of like the gym. You never regret going, you feel amazing afterward, but it’s always hard getting started. I’ve never heard anyone say, “Oh man, I wish I didn’t meditate today.” I actually laughed out loud at that. Well anyway, making something feel like a ritual can make an every day activity enjoyable, sort of like how you make your coffee. You have the coffee, the filter, the water, the brew, the mug, and then finally the first sip of coffee. I could turn the process of making coffee into a metaphor for anything.
