Easy Crafts At Home

use it or lose it…

Creativity is like a muscle. If you don’t use it, you’ll lose it. Whether you think you’re good at it or not, I’m always an advocate for being creative and using your imagination. When you’re using both and enjoying the process of what you’re making, something magical happens. Here are two projects that I’ve been working on that brought me so much joy.

Terrariums…

I don’t even know how I got into these, but I have loved them since I was a kid. There’s something so special about building your own eco-system and then seeing it thrive. I love pouring the dirt in, shaping the hills, carefully selecting the moss and rocks, and placing the miniatures in very specific places. In my imagination, there’s a world that comes alive with gnomes and fairies and they make it even more magical. I just love it!!

Here’s what I used:

These make great house warming gifts and are so fun to make. If you get your hands dirty with this, definitely be sure to tag me in a pic on the socials.

Painted Rocks

My sister actually introduced me to this craft and as always, she was right. They are so fun and relaxing to make. I bought a rock painting kit from etsy and it came with everything I needed, including the rocks. I was expecting to hide the finished rocks in parks throughout SF, but so many of my friends asked me for them, I’m only left with a few now. I was incredibly flattered!

I’m having a ton of fun finding new crafts and getting creative. I’d love to see if you make one of these or if you have a craft recommendation for me. I’d love to hear!

Until next time, byeeeeeee!
