Easiest 5 Ingredient Meal
Time for dinner...
and you're starving and you want something super easy, healthy, and delicious because like I mentioned before...YOU'RE STARVING! So here's a quick and easy meal that you can whip up any day of the week and all you'll need are 5 ingredients. Bon appétit!
Ingredients:
1 lb skirt steak
2 plantains
1 tub of guacamole
Coconut oil
Goya Adobo
Instructions:
I like to bring my meat to room temperature, so I take it out about a half hour to a full hour to sit before cooking.
Season skirt steak with Goya Adobo. Heat a cast iron pan and add 2 big spoon full of coconut oil. Peel and cut plantains (about one inch per slice). Then add to pan, about one minute each side. Remove from pan and individually flatten with the side of the knife. Then return the smushed plantains to the pan. Cook until sides and edges are golden brown.
Cook meat on the griddle for about 3-5 minutes per side, depending on how thick your cut is and how tender you like your steak.
Let meat rest. In the meantime, plate your plantains. Place a small dollop of guacamole on each plantain. Then cut your meat into bite sized pieces and add on top of the guacamole. Enjoy!
