5 Things I've Continued into 2021

Taking the good into the new…

2020 wasn’t an ideal year in more ways than one. However, there were a few things I implemented into my life, that were super beneficial and worthy of coming with me into 2021! 

Date Nights 

With pandemic life still ever-present, setting aside one night a week is crucial! Even though you are spending much more time than usual with your SO, specifically setting aside a night and time for each other and making it about one another, it’ll do wonders! 

Hobbies 

Whether it’s painting, crafts, shopping, cooking, or baking, celebrating your hobbies is important. It’s important for your mental health because it allows you to focus on yourself and trigger endorphins to make you happy.

New Things 

Trying new things is fun! Maybe it’s a new cuisine, a new recipe, watching a new movie genre, or playing a new game. We go through life doing so much of what we know or love and forget to branch out and test the waters of new things. I am obsessed with these fruit leathers I made. They are amazing!

Time Outside

We all need to unleash our sense of adventure. Going outside even just for 5 mins of Vitamin D or a full of hiking, you’ll thank yourself. Being outside is so important! Remember to keep a distance and stay safe by wearing a mask. 

Drinking water 

I’m sure you’ve heard me say this before. It’s not a new thing for me. Drinking water is maybe the most important take away from this list. It has health, both physical and mental, benefits that are life-changing! I recently got a HydroFlask and I drink a ton more water.
